Buga is a 2013 Bavaria 40, a boat that will make your dreams come true. Whether you go on holiday with your family or a group of mates, her 3 double bed cabins and spacious saloon will happily take 8 of you. Sail from cove to cove, port to port, or just splash around in one of the cleanest seas in the world. After a fun-filled day, wash down the salt on your shower deck, dress up and hit the nearest town! Each town and village along the coast and on the islands organises 'Fishermen's Night' one day a week. Ask your Adriatic Charter team for recommendations, and experience a proper traditional fiesta, where you can enjoy simple sea food dishes and local wines. Dalmatia is a very musical region, so if you stay up long enough for the wine to kick in, you will experience local traditional singing. :)

License & Skipper Services

Security deposit
A refundable €1,500 security deposit will have to be paid at check-in. Like car rentals, boat charters require a refundable security deposit to cover accidental damage. The amount varies by boat model and is returned after inspection if no damage is found.
Insurance
This boat is managed by a professional charter company with comprehensive insurance. Your liability for damages is limited to the security deposit. For added peace of mind, you can protect your deposit by purchasing deposit insurance.

What happens when I request a quote?
Once we receive your request, we will confirm the availability of the boat, as well as check for alternative ones. To ensure your experience is the best it can be, we may contact you to discuss your request in detail. Let us do the research for you - free of charge.
When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?
The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.
What is the Charter Fee?
The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.
Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.
