Welcome on board! our sailing boat "Lady Butterfly" was built in 2009. The lady is well treated and in very good condition. We have a fully equipped kitchen on board, even with a microwave oven, television and radio sound system.

A colored, large format chart plotter is used for safe navigation.

And a dingy will bring you on land any time when we are in the bays or harbor. We have 2 toilets and 2 showers, one in the side and the second on the bathing platform.

I would like to invite you to join me on a beautiful sailing trip around the islands of Hvar, Brac, Vis, Korcula, Mlijet, Pelisac and Susac. Towels, hand soap, bed linen and duvets are on board.

Despite some troubles, our host Sebastian was always friendly and accommodating. The Boat was in really good shape, everything was as expected. The sails are pleasuring and the boat stays on track even at higher wind force. The solar panel on the boat worked from morning to evening and kept the drinks cool.

License & Skipper Services

Sail yourself with a valid license or add a professional skipper for €170 per day during the reservation process. For more information about boat licences, check out our page What boat license do I need?

Security deposit

A refundable €1,700 security deposit will have to be paid at check-in. Like car rentals, boat charters require a refundable security deposit to cover accidental damage. The amount varies by boat model and is returned after inspection if no damage is found.

Insurance

This boat is managed by a professional charter company with comprehensive insurance. Your liability for damages is limited to the security deposit. For added peace of mind, you can protect your deposit by purchasing deposit insurance.

When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?

The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.

What is the Charter Fee?

The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.

Are there any other costs I should be aware of?

There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.
