The Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 in 3 cabins and 2 heads is designed to offer optimum comfort for your charter cruises. The starboard cabin converts into a spacious suite, with a large private bathroom forward. The space is perfectly laid out, with a shower cell and separate toilet for added convenience and privacy.
The large exterior cockpit lets you enjoy convivial moments in complete freedom, while maneuvers are carried out from the helm station, freeing up the rear of the boat for a relaxing area. Thanks to its large glass surfaces, the saloon is flooded with natural light, creating a warm, open atmosphere.
The Lucia 40 combines space, comfort and performance, offering an ideal sailing experience, whether for offshore escapades or extended cruises.

Thanks to its central location, you can easily choose between exploring the south or the north of the island in a week, with easy access to all the must-see sites.
Before you set off with your boat, your vacation begins as soon as you arrive! On Saturday, before picking up your boat, enjoy the town: stroll through the local market to stock up on typical Corsican produce. Then visit the Maison de Napoléon, a place steeped in history, or discover the Grotte de Napoléon, where the emperor loved to visit.
If you head south :
- Le Lion de Roccapina: Anchor at the foot of the majestic lion-shaped cliff, a spectacular setting not to be missed.

Security deposit
A refundable €6,000 security deposit will have to be paid at check-in. Like car rentals, boat charters require a refundable security deposit to cover accidental damage. The amount varies by boat model and is returned after inspection if no damage is found.
Insurance
This boat is managed by a professional charter company with comprehensive insurance. Your liability for damages is limited to the security deposit. For added peace of mind, you can protect your deposit by purchasing deposit insurance.

Once we receive your request, we will confirm the availability of the boat, as well as check for alternative ones. To ensure your experience is the best it can be, we may contact you to discuss your request in detail. Let us do the research for you - free of charge.
When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?
The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.
What is the Charter Fee?
The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.
Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.
