Idealy located on the Old Port of Marseille, our catamaran, the Mercurey, offers a new way of travelling. Spacious and comfortable it can welcome up to 28 people on day charter and up to 12 people on long charter.

It has 6 twin cabins with their own bathrooms, a large living-room/kitchen, safety nets in the front and a patio on the back.

The Mercurey will help you discover the city, its calanques, its Frioul island and its château d'If.

On board, many activities are possible ! stand-up paddles, towed buoy, masks, fins and tubs. Everything to spend a unique journey.

The Mercurey is also available to host your events. From the intimate wedding to the bachelor and bachelorette party, including birthdays and family reunions.

Security deposit

A refundable $5,887 security deposit will have to be paid at check-in. Like car rentals, boat charters require a refundable security deposit to cover accidental damage. The amount varies by boat model and is returned after inspection if no damage is found.

Insurance

This boat is managed by a professional charter company with comprehensive insurance. Your liability for damages is limited to the security deposit. For added peace of mind, you can protect your deposit by purchasing deposit insurance.

When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?

The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.

What is the Charter Fee?

The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.

Are there any other costs I should be aware of?

There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.
